1. SLP Summit
SLP Summit offers a free 4-day conference each July across a variety of continuing education topics for Speech Pathologists. The SLP Summitt provides free CEUs for Speech Therapists live during the 4-day conference and with a playback period that lasts several weeks following the live events. While the SLP Summitt is free, Speech Therapists may choose to pay a $25 fee to have their CEUs reported directly to ASHA; however, this is not required.
2. ChildApraxiaTreatment.org
An introduction workshop worth .45 ASHA CEUs is provided for FREE on the topic of DTTC for Apraxia of Speech. The Diagnosis and Treatment of CAS Using Dynamic Temporal and Tactile Cueing (DTTC) workshop is an online video training provided by Dr. Edythe Strand. SLPs are eligible to complete 2 free hours of CE credit (or .2 ASHA CEUs) on their site each year by reading or listening to any of the open-access research reviews and completing the accompanying comprehension questions.
